I HATE HOME WORK!
This is old and I could probably use this to blackmail Luc later in life - but it is so good! This is the reaction I get when I tell him to do homework... (His mother)

"A year ago this time, we gave up the hope to be freed in time for my mother's birthday on the 26th. We could not see the end of the tunnel. Now, if it were not for that experience on the island, our son may have had a different name as we would not have met Marie," said Callie on Wednesday. Little Luc, "with my nose and chin", as Monique proclaimed, and several strands of darkish hair made his way into the world on Tuesday at 11:47am. He came a little earlier than planned - he did not turn the right way for birth and Monique had to undergo a caesarean section. Callie was constantly at his wife's side. "Monique was so worried that I would pass out that she looked more at me than at what the doctors were doing," he said. His mother, Josie Meyer, said it was the best birthday present she'd had. She recalled how her birthday last year passed in a cloud of worry over the hostage drama and because of reports that Monique had a miscarriage. "Finally last year's memories are not as bad," she said. With typical grandmotherly concern and wisdom, she said she had not yet seen her grandson because she had a cold. The other grandmother, Monica Aggenbag, said it was good that the Strydoms' first baby was a boy "so that he could look after upcoming sisters". |
