MEET LUC
I am Luc Strydom. I am 8 years old. My mother calls me a miracle - because she never wanted children, then nearly died (and then decided that she wanted a child), and then the doctors told her should will not have a child soon - but then she did - she had me! I live in Cape Town (South Africa). Because my mother and father love airports, I have travelled since I was very small... I have seen many incredible things and I have met many stunning people. I am not keen to write or to read (or do homework - like most 8 year old boys), but my mother makes me write before I can play on my PSP. And because she thinks I am just be best, she has decided that the whole world should read my thoughts. So here it is, copied by my mom from my private memoirs...

- Many years ago I survived a 4-month hostage ordeal in the hands of Al Queda terrorists. This was a life changing experience. I saw many miracles during this time and believe that God looked after all the hostages as part of a bigger plan. Today Callie and I are the proud parents of Luc, born after the ordeal. We have dedicated our lives to help others in need and also enjoy every minute of life!
